Has the time come for you to finally get serious about marketing your business? Are you sick and tired of all the failed attempts you have made in the past? Once you have an in depth understanding of network marketing, you can quickly achieve the goals you have set for yourself and your business.

One of the first things you will need to learn is if you want to see results you have to keep promoting on a constant basis. Once you get aggressive with your promotion efforts it wont take very long at all for you to start seeing great results unlike anything has ever shown you in the past.

This entire process begins with simply going online and learning about the different options that you have for promoting. There are tons of different methods and directions you can take to achieve this. However, in order to be successful you need to focus all of your time and efforts on the things that will start showing you the results that you want quickly. A business directory can also be useful.

One of the most powerful methods of promoting a business online is article marketing and it can be one of the best ways to get started online. Learning this network marketing skill will help you to do a lot of different things that can make you successful in any marketing opportunity.

Many of you are probably already asking yourselves, what exactly is article marketing and how is it done? Basically, article marketing is just an online method of promotion that involves writing articles that focus on keywords that are relevant to your business.

You see, there are millions of people online at any given time, on any given day. They are all searching for different things. When you write an article based around specific keywords you are targeting the people that are searching those keywords and putting your business in front of them to catch their attention.

All you need to do with this method is write an article to get things started. Don’t worry about your writing ability in the beginning, it will get better the more articles you write.

The absolute best thing of all about using this as a promotion method is that it costs nothing but the time you put in to writing and submitting your articles. However, the results will last a lifetime because once you have your articles online they will be there forever. Article directories typically don’t cast anything for article submission so use these to your advantage and save some money. The less money you spend on advertising, the more profit you will make in the end.

Google Adwords Advertising Tips

January 19th, 2010

It is incorrect believe that the top search terms are good choices for keywords. This seems logical but it doesn’t take into account other competition. Picking keywords that match the advertiser’s business usually have more of an impact.

The use of special modifiers narrows the field a bit so that you will attract a higher quality audience. For example, use the term “flower gardening” instead of just “gardening” and you will eliminate the crowd that is more interested in vegetable gardening. “Perennial flower gardening” would be even more specific.

There isn’t much benefit to an advertiser if the receive many clicks but below average conversion rates. Viewers who are merely clicking on ads and not purchasing anything are only costing the advertiser money. Drawing more likely candidates requires well targeted keywords. This results in a better conversion rate and better ROI.

Creating keywords requires examining your web site and picking out the words and phrases that describe it. You should also look at other web sites in the same target market. Try to figure out why those sites are good or not and look at how they word their advertisements and content. If they are reaching the target market you should attempt to leverage their terms and phrases where possible.

It can also be helpful if you learn to think as a customer would. Google offers the recommendation to list all the things a customer might type into a search engine while looking for a certain product or service. Consider the possibility that there may be several different spellings for those words. As an example, foods which are low fat could also be called “light” or “lite”. Either spelling should be a keyword so that every potential customer is reached.

Keeping track of how effective a campaign is is a critical component. You can use Google’s conversion tracking tool along with Google Analytics to see how a campaign is doing. If you see advertisements that are not generating as much traffic as estimated try to make some changes. Then, keep watching the results to see if the change improved things.

Top 7 Blogging Mistakes

December 18th, 2009

Blogging is by far one of my favorite online marketing activities for online success. It’s a great way for me to share the tons of information I’ve learned about online marketing.

Blogging is not difficult, but it is easy to make some basic mistakes that will impact your results.

At a minimum, you should try to avoid these 7 common blogging mistakes:

Mistake #1: Not providing a visually appealing blog. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but make sure your font is easy to ready, your color scheme is appealing, and you have a clean layout.

Mistake #2: Making your content difficult to read by using long words, long sentences, and long paragraphs. Keep your sentences and paragraphs short. Also, use words and language that your target visitor will understand.

Your paragraphs should be 2-3 sentences long at most. Even if you end up with a paragraph break at a non-standard place, your blog will be easier on the eye and easier for your readers to read online. Long chunks of text are very difficult to read online.

Mistake #3: Writing in a boring, non-conversational style. The best approach is to pretend you are writing to a single person. That person should be your ideal prospect. Pretend you are having a conversation with them, one-on-one. And give your text personality by expressing your opinions.

Mistake #4: Not spell checking your articles before publishing them. Misspelled words are annoying to many people and will make you seem careless and uneducated.

Mistake #5: Only writing for search engines, not for your human visitors. If you use search engine optimization to get natural traffic from the search engines, make sure your article still reads well for your ultimate customer, your human visitors. It’s your human visitors that will buy from you, not the search engines! Only use keywords if they are appropriate and don’t negatively impact the readability of your article.

Mistake #6: Writing to make money, not because you like the topic. If you are passionate about your topic, it will come across in your writing and your readers will pick up on it.

Mistake #7: One-way dialogs. Try to engage your readers in discussion. Ask them to leave comments. Ask them what they think. Get them to think and share their thoughts.

That’s my quick list of 7 common blogging mistakes. Avoid these mistakes and create a blog that rocks!

How To Use Business Emails Efficiently

December 12th, 2009

Many people these days are very wary about using business email advertising, for lots of reasons. The most obvious one is being judged as spamming. They do not know how to write informative content in their email messages, and very importantly take care not to come across as selling their product or service too strongly. They are wary of making email advertising errors, and because of this, deny themselves those many benefits that this form of promotion can create.

These fears are easily understood due to the ways that business email marketing has received negative responses, having been used so blatantly by unscrupulous people for such a long time, until goverment regulations put an end to most of these practices. Now that this type of so-called marketing has been labelled illegal, most of it has now no longer used, thank goodness.

What has effectively evolved now is an opportunity for marketers to create business emails that have the customers interests as the number one priority, by providing real value to the reader and by offering solutions to peoples problems. So you can definitely add value to the lives of your readers by writing business emails with these purposes in mind. And you need an efficient software program as your broadcast tool to get your message to your prospective customers and business associates. So how do you do this?

Firstly, you need to begin to build a list of people you want to market your product and services to. This list could initially be made up of those with whom you currently communicate, possibly lists you purchase, although these generally are of poor quality, and the list you build as a result of your marketing and advertising promotions. When you are putting these lists together you need a high quality email marketing program that you can put on autopilot and be able to market your offers with time-efficiency.

There are a number of high-quality software programs which will enable you to set-up effective business emails for a very modest cost. One of the most popular programs is offered by Aweber. It’s the one I use and I find it to not only be extremely easy to use, it also offers a very high standard of customer support.

You can create any number of different lists within the Aweber software program, have business emails automatically sent to your contacts, as well mailing a broadcast to them each time you feel you have something of additional value that isn’t already in your automatic messages. Such extra effort by you is an excellent way of building rapport and relationships with your contacts, and gaining their trust.

It is very important to be aware that with most of these business email marketing software programs, and is certainly the case with Aweber, that you receive permission from people to send emails to them. The Aweber program includes the facility to initially give your contact the option to opt-out and not receive anycorrespondence from you. This way, you are able to grow a list containing highly-qualified prospects for your mutual success. I hope what I have written is helpful and that you can now effectively use emails to grow your home based business more efficiently, and make money doing so.

Blog Myths and Facts

December 1st, 2009

A huge trail of controversies and myths still continue to exist within the blogosphere. This article was written to dispel some of the blog myths outlined below.

Anyone can start a blog. Not just anyone! Obviously, you should know how to use the computer, need an Internet connection and some experience using the Internet. You also need a host for your blogs; there are blog hosts that are free and some that cost a small amount per month. One last requirement is not just an ability to communicate your thoughts but also a willingness to do so.

Anyone can set up a blog. This comes down to the blog hosts you are using. Some hosts get far more technical than the average user may be ready for. Some just require you to fill a one-step form and your blog will be set up in seconds!

Blogging is grade-school. When in comes to blogging, it’s the actual writing that’s the toughest nut to crack. The more engaged and knowledgeable you are with your subject, the easier and more interesting your writing will be.

Most blogs are political. Not really. Many blogs focus on political topics but most blogs are just bloggers discussing their lives, loves and travels.

Blogs are in competition with the main-stream media. This is true in a few cases (not as many cases as bloggers would have you think). Just recently, there have been some very popular and influential social and politically-oriented blogs that have caused main-stream media outlets to back-track and change their coverage of important events.

Bloggers are just having fun criticizing everyone and everything and have no new information to add. True in some cases. Today, blogging is much more than the personal activity it used to be. Corporations, media outlets, public personalities, politicians and experts in almost every field have now joined the ranks of blog producers. Considering all this expertise, one would have to say that bloggers have a lot of new information to add to any debate.

Blogs don’t always tell the truth. That’s a bit of an overstatement. You may read bad information and even intentional untruths in blogs but, for the most part, bloggers who state facts are stating what they honestly believe to be fact. It is always up to the reader to verify that any information they receive is accurate information.

The Good and Bad of Free Web Hosting Plans

November 30th, 2009

What is the difference between shared (paid) web hosting and free web hosting? This is an important question for those who are interested in setting up web sites. Whether just for blogging or promoting a cause, or trying to make money with a business, the type of hosting you choose can make a big difference in your site and the reaction of your visitors. Just setting up shop on a free social site like Facebook isn’t always a great idea.

On the social sites, whatever content you submit is theirs. If the site decides some day to change the rules, or go offline altogether, all of your effort can be wasted. It is so much better when you own your own domain and have your own hosting. If you own your site, your content is yours and you own it (except for copyrighted material, of course).

With the price of paid hosting down to reasonable levels, it makes sense now to consider it. You can register a domain for under $10 a year, and set up paid hosting for about the same amount per month. These paid packages have plenty of disk space and bandwidth allowance for most average webmasters, usually with room for multiple sites if you’re inclined to create them.

Even with pay by the month hosting being so cheap, some folks still like the idea of free web hosting. If your site is small, strictly for fun, and you wouldn’t mind if it went away suddenly then free hosting might be okay for you. If your intention is to promote any business or sell anything, free hosting isn’t a good idea.

On the up side, free web hosting is indeed free. No strings attached, usually. Nonetheless, there are drawbacks and reasons that the hosting is free.

Free hosts typically run advertisements on your site, and you have no control over this. While your page will still be there, the advertising all around can make it look bad. It just isn’t attractive.

It isn’t unusual for pop ups to be a problem on free sites. Pop up blockers don’t get them all, and they can be a nuisance to your site visitors.

Free hosting is for small sites that don’t get a lot of traffic, and don’t use a lot of video or file transfers. Don’t plan on having more than a small, simple site with these hosts.

A website hosted with a free provider will not be your own domain name. You will pick a name, which will be attached to the host’s name, for example: yoursitename.freehost.com or something similar. You won’t be able have your own unique domain.

Remember that free hosts are counting on making money from the ads on your site. They hope you’ll bring in traffic that will click the ads and buy something. They then make money from the click, or from the sale. It’s a great deal. Problem is, if it doesn’t go well, the host can shut down at anytime and all your work and effort is gone forever.

My advice is to avoid all free web hosting services, unless you simply don’t have the money or don’t want to commit to a few dollars a month for a regular host. The bottom line is, never put anything up on a free host that you really don’t want to lose. It is definitely a risk.

Twitter – How To Effectively Use it For Networking

November 29th, 2009

You have no doubt already heard of the social networking site Twitter, which, despite only having being around a relatively short period of time, is now one of the most popular sites on the whole of the Internet. Some people are still not convinced of its value as a genuine marketing tool, but serious marketers have not only realized that, but are already using it to drive traffic to their web properties and, ultimately, to make money.

When you’re just getting started on Twitter, things can seem hectic or confusing. To get yourself hooked up with some followers who have similar interests as you, think of a popular online community that you frequent and start following people you know there. If you are active in this online community, then people will start to notice you and follow you as well.

Once you have a decent number of followers, it’s time to start tweeting. Bear in mind that when you tweet, self promotion isn’t the aim – always think about what your can genuinely offer others. There have been many spoofs of Twitter in the form of comics and videos which comment on how some people like to tweet about their everyday lives. If you want to brand yourself as someone knowledgeable and whom it would be desirable to follow, then you’ll need to be able to provide value to your followers as well as potential followers.

There are also a plethora of tools on the Internet that integrate with Twitter to provide greater functionality and options. Some of these tools provide options to automate some of your Twitter activities, such as automatically following those who follow you, or automatically sending welcome messages to those who follow you. Be wary of automating too much though as the whole point of Twitter is that it is a ’social’ site, and the parts of it you automate the less interaction you have with other Twitter users. Still, there are some great tools out there, the best of which you can find by simply searching for ‘twitter tools’ on a search engine.

Twitter is a great networking tool because it allows you to get in touch with people who you wouldn’t otherwise have a chance to meet. A great way to start a conversation with someone on Twitter is to either ask them a question, or answer one of their questions. Comments may be ignored, but if you help them or ask them for help, you are more likely to elicit a response from them. This is especially useful for networking with experts in your field.

Basically, the more times you tweet and interact, the more trust and respect will be built. Then, once others see that you are an active and valuable Twitter user, they will start interacting with you too, and a viral networking effect results. As soon as you start building your network on Twitter, you’ll find that your follower base will start to grow on its own without any additional effort on your part.

What Is Information Marketing.

November 22nd, 2009

As I mentioned in my previous post Information is a multi-BILLION dollar industry and an incredible opportunity for you to make an additional income in or to even make this your profession. It is one of the easiest industries to “break into” AND it is based upon taking your knowledge and leveraging it. Let me explain: Information Marketing is the publishing, marketing and selling of information products. both off-line (i.e. book stores) and on-line (i.e. websites).

You know Information Marketing best from books that you see at book stores or perhaps the exercise systems you can purchase from the TV Infomercials. Have you ever wanted to write your own book, share your knowledge, your system, your shortcuts? You may not have thought about the marketing and selling aspect of that but tha

How do we know? For the mere fact that I previously declared in my anteceding post… “last year three hundred and fifty two million individuals spent over $564 BILLION on information products. So… Do not you think there is an given chance there for you? Do not you think out of three hundred and fifty two million individuals worldwide (and with the growth of the Internet this number is sure to have already tripled) that there is a niche market out there for you? Sure there is! Go look on the Internet and see if you can find something similar. Someone is writing and putting information out there right now in your niche… why shouldn’t it be YOU?

I posses how what you are thinking… there is already too much Info out there, or someone has already written a book on my topic… or Or OR. No excuses. Here’s the deal. There is nobody else out there like YOU with your knowledge, your experience, expertise, spin, etc. AND more importantly there are people out there that will resonate with you and your message or Info but you have to give them the chance.

Let me take this a step further… Have you seen a book on imposed dieting? More than one book? Oh really? In fact let’s just narrow our search to Amazong for imposed dieting books and not even open this up to Google for worldwide returns…. On Amazon alone twhen you search imposed dieting books you get a whopping 33,758 returns on imposed dieting! Yikes!

Hmmmm…. Well now isn’t that interesting? There are a ton of books on imposed dieting and new ones coming out what seems like every day! Yet they are all different, they all have their own spin and take on “Their System” I’ll talk more about this in my next post. Even with imposed dieting a subject that would seem to be saturated by now and isn’t is an given chance in Information marketing/selling.

You see there is never enough information and people need to know what you know. The only difference between the “experts” and you is that 1) they call themselves and expert and 2) they have taken action to publish and market their information in some format.

So back to our topic here on Information marketing/selling… I like to produce this simple when it comes to explaining what type of information products there and there is a lot… I call them clicks and bricks. Now you know what Information marketing/selling is all about and it is HUGE! I’m looking forward to training you in this Industry and to helping you get started. I know you will produce a positive difference in the lives of others when you share your information… your SYSTEM. Stay tuned for my next post on more about your System.

Article Marketing with Unique Article Wizard

November 13th, 2009

What is Article Marketing?
Article Marketing in the internet marketing actually means writing articles that is related to the website or webpage you want to promote then submit them to as many articles directories as you can. It is one of the most common, effective and popular marketing methods today. Mainly because it is FREE and you get high exposure to readers out there. When you write articles, your articles will relate to your website, telling the reader more about that topic you are sharing and finally linking them back to your site. Usually in your resource box, the place where you tell people more about yourself, your webpage or the thing you are promoting.

What does Article Marketing do?
Article Marketing is getting very popular in the recent 2-3 years mainly because of Google and the technology used on many articles directories. Many marketers out there would want to advertise their website and get more people to visit. With these articles directories using Web 2.0 technology, Google Search Engine Bot crawls them easier or rather I would say Google bots LOVES such sites. Google tends to index such place more often, especially when there is very often updates on that specific site. Which it happens very often on articles directories because many people are posting articles on those directories. This will result in having a chance to have your article get indexed by Google, the big brother search engine online today, and expose to as many people as you wish. Another point is backlinks, having articles submitted to many articles directories, especially those popular ones around with high Google page rank, you will also get more backlinks to your site because you promoted your website in your resource box of these articles which will be shown together with the article. Google takes backlink into consideration on listing your page or that article in Google search result, and also your page rank or even the page rank of the article directory your article is on. In short, having your articles on as many articles directories as you can, with many high page rank articles directories, your article will get very high amount of exposure.

How does Article Marketing help?
From what I’ve explained so far above, it explains how article marketing can help you advertise your website and get high exposure. Not forgetting writing articles and submitting them to article directories can be FREE, all of them can be done by you manually. Having this FREE method of advertisement, to help you promote the thing you want to advertise, it truly help you on the advertising and marketing your website.

How to make Article Marketing EASIER and Amplify its result?
As I don’t really wish to share this idea because it might saturate and reduce the effect in some ways.
If you spend some time on Internet Marketing or Article Marketing, you should have heard of this.
Unique Article Wizard (UAW) – This is really one wonderful tool I’ve used online, one of the best so far.

What does UAW do?
As you probably has already seen many reviews or affiliates of UAW recommending it, it is really too good.
I posted this Article, this exact one you are reading, on my own Google Site click here – http://3.ly/articlemarketing
Then I submitted this article with UAW to hundreds of directories, you simply Google it to check this, verify the proof with your own actions.
Google these few exact topics or copy this whole string into Google Search.
“Article Marketing with UAW” OR “Article Marketing Introduced by Vexez” OR “Article Marketing with Unique Article Wizard”
I’m also not sure how good the results can be, its my test and its the proof for Unique Article Wizard.
I’ve also submitted some others articles to promote different websites and links with UAW, I was actually stunned.
When I checked back on those website hits, just 1-2 days after submission, I physically got shocked.
1000+ hits for one of them, 500+ hits for another, in just 1-2 days after submission.

I’m actually having doubts in recommending this idea to people because if everyone is using this, I’m actually getting more people to fight with me in this Article Marketing method.
As an user of UAW, my review for Unique Article Wizard (UAW) is highly rated.
