Freelance Virtual Assistants: Will It Save You Money?

February 21st, 2010

Freelance Virtual assistants offer various advantages compared to temporary or part-time workers. Beyond the obvious–no payroll taxes, no workers’ comp, no temp-agency commission–web assistants tend to remain more cost-efficient, charging on hourly basis. They use telephones and voice-recognition technology to make ease of the everyday routines of obtaining messages, returning telephone calls and managing appointments. Choosing among the leading virtual assistants is determined on simply how much you are willing to pay and which services you’d want . Virtual assistants, just like bricks-and-mortar assistants, are definitely not immune. I’m certainly not talking about being a VA in general – though that happens too – where a virtual assistant determines she just can’t handle the isolation and hangs up her pc.

Virtual assistants do certainly not demand to meet their clients directly to converse or to exchange data. All these are executed through the internet.Web Assistants can handle anything from daily correspondence and e-mails, to establishing a Advertising Campaign for customers, taking on their article submissions and website article submissions, to working with a client’s web site or blog. Virtual Assistants simply could be well advised to embrace a business partner or use a team of trusted colleagues to entrust overflow to. The specifications of a beneficial Virtual Assistant aren’t easily met and setting up a virtual network of quality workers isn’t very easy to do at all.

Virtual assistant is definitely the broader term. By description, all virtual content writers are also virtual assistants; then again not all virtual assistants are content writers (although some are).

Virtual Assistants are known to be business owners too. They pick who they’ll and would not work with. Because of this, companies really do take them seriously. Particular suggestions and techniques are found in a number of VA blogs where it is full of the ins and outs of working along with a virtual assistant which includes what you must look for, what isn’t that crucial and even how VAs function and what dissimilar tasks are easiest to delegate. VA’s bring with them a variety of administrative expertise that cover anything from word processing and internet research, to making and keeping famous blog sites and article automations .

Virtual Assistants are appointed on an hourly or a monthly retainer basis. Virtual assistants began as home dependent assistants within the business industry however the industry has advanced substantially over the past 10-12 years or even more. Today, together with word-processing, they’re able to produce complex docs and set up macros, create and manage Power Point presentations , create and manage databases, data entry into databases or spreadsheets, generate and maintain website pages, appear just after your social media needs such as Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Business is often a very broad discipline that involves supervision, corporate strategy, international operations, leadership and customer relations. As establishments constantly grow , they face new difficulties. Supervisors and executives of businesses can utilize VAs to take care of tasks such as, web development, web edits, blog installations, posting, and maintenance, accounting and bookkeeping, telecommerce and setting appointments.

I would have to say that one should definitely offer to save the client money. Every person -doesn’t make a difference, how wealthy or inadequate they are – all of them would to be able to save enough money.Offer a price cut or a few other small token if required. Always remember to thank your clients for being understanding and keep in mind when they have issues crop up, that they’re just like everyone else that don’t take criticisms personally.

Google Adwords Advertising Tips

January 19th, 2010

It is incorrect believe that the top search terms are good choices for keywords. This seems logical but it doesn’t take into account other competition. Picking keywords that match the advertiser’s business usually have more of an impact.

The use of special modifiers narrows the field a bit so that you will attract a higher quality audience. For example, use the term “flower gardening” instead of just “gardening” and you will eliminate the crowd that is more interested in vegetable gardening. “Perennial flower gardening” would be even more specific.

There isn’t much benefit to an advertiser if the receive many clicks but below average conversion rates. Viewers who are merely clicking on ads and not purchasing anything are only costing the advertiser money. Drawing more likely candidates requires well targeted keywords. This results in a better conversion rate and better ROI.

Creating keywords requires examining your web site and picking out the words and phrases that describe it. You should also look at other web sites in the same target market. Try to figure out why those sites are good or not and look at how they word their advertisements and content. If they are reaching the target market you should attempt to leverage their terms and phrases where possible.

It can also be helpful if you learn to think as a customer would. Google offers the recommendation to list all the things a customer might type into a search engine while looking for a certain product or service. Consider the possibility that there may be several different spellings for those words. As an example, foods which are low fat could also be called “light” or “lite”. Either spelling should be a keyword so that every potential customer is reached.

Keeping track of how effective a campaign is is a critical component. You can use Google’s conversion tracking tool along with Google Analytics to see how a campaign is doing. If you see advertisements that are not generating as much traffic as estimated try to make some changes. Then, keep watching the results to see if the change improved things.

SEO Article Power

November 29th, 2009

Article writing is necessary to good SEO service using 250- 500 word length articles for attracting intented traffic. These articles can be created with keywords and issues that will attract a flow of visitors from search engines. Also good seo articles can be utilized as content for unique, fresh, and up-to-date info for your website, blog, or e-newsletter.

Searching for a good, efficient, inexpensive and dependable SEO copywriter can be very difficult. Why not collaborate with a writer for hire and get worthy SEO articles created to infuse your websites with a possible downpour of traffic? What to search for in a good quality SEO copywriter? Anybody may say they understand SEO article writing but to the determent of your business you must be selective in who you deal with.

While it seems like commonsense to research if their personal website ranks high it is in fact rather the opposite a lot of the trained SEO writers work under a mentor and would not own the time to improve their own site if they are totally doing work.

The main reason my sites rank high in this case is because as a highly skilled SEO writer I train others and they in return help improve my web sites following my systems throughput the training period, if a trainee or virtual worker can’t do well using my sites they never perform work for any client except if it is minor support details.

So in looking for a writer ignore their websites and ask for data on a customer’s site that ranks bear in mind due to confidentiality in a lot of the cases the number of customers who give permission to reveal even the fact that a writer has performed work for them is usual smaller than the actual amount of customers that writer has worked with.

If all types of investigation fails writers even with smart customers who never wish anybody viewing their niche and therefore bringing in more competition will still give testimonials. Find writers with an increasing database of testimonials for good work done by past clients.

What Is Information Marketing.

November 22nd, 2009

As I mentioned in my previous post Information is a multi-BILLION dollar industry and an incredible opportunity for you to make an additional income in or to even make this your profession. It is one of the easiest industries to “break into” AND it is based upon taking your knowledge and leveraging it. Let me explain: Information Marketing is the publishing, marketing and selling of information products. both off-line (i.e. book stores) and on-line (i.e. websites).

You know Information Marketing best from books that you see at book stores or perhaps the exercise systems you can purchase from the TV Infomercials. Have you ever wanted to write your own book, share your knowledge, your system, your shortcuts? You may not have thought about the marketing and selling aspect of that but tha

How do we know? For the mere fact that I previously declared in my anteceding post… “last year three hundred and fifty two million individuals spent over $564 BILLION on information products. So… Do not you think there is an given chance there for you? Do not you think out of three hundred and fifty two million individuals worldwide (and with the growth of the Internet this number is sure to have already tripled) that there is a niche market out there for you? Sure there is! Go look on the Internet and see if you can find something similar. Someone is writing and putting information out there right now in your niche… why shouldn’t it be YOU?

I posses how what you are thinking… there is already too much Info out there, or someone has already written a book on my topic… or Or OR. No excuses. Here’s the deal. There is nobody else out there like YOU with your knowledge, your experience, expertise, spin, etc. AND more importantly there are people out there that will resonate with you and your message or Info but you have to give them the chance.

Let me take this a step further… Have you seen a book on imposed dieting? More than one book? Oh really? In fact let’s just narrow our search to Amazong for imposed dieting books and not even open this up to Google for worldwide returns…. On Amazon alone twhen you search imposed dieting books you get a whopping 33,758 returns on imposed dieting! Yikes!

Hmmmm…. Well now isn’t that interesting? There are a ton of books on imposed dieting and new ones coming out what seems like every day! Yet they are all different, they all have their own spin and take on “Their System” I’ll talk more about this in my next post. Even with imposed dieting a subject that would seem to be saturated by now and isn’t is an given chance in Information marketing/selling.

You see there is never enough information and people need to know what you know. The only difference between the “experts” and you is that 1) they call themselves and expert and 2) they have taken action to publish and market their information in some format.

So back to our topic here on Information marketing/selling… I like to produce this simple when it comes to explaining what type of information products there and there is a lot… I call them clicks and bricks. Now you know what Information marketing/selling is all about and it is HUGE! I’m looking forward to training you in this Industry and to helping you get started. I know you will produce a positive difference in the lives of others when you share your information… your SYSTEM. Stay tuned for my next post on more about your System.

Mistakes In Website Design

November 3rd, 2009

There are websites that are really irritating to look at. Sometimes you can’t point them out but you still get this feeling that something is wrong and it is irritating. Some are identifiable though. Here are some of the common mistakes that can mar your web design.

First on the list is of course bad layout and bad web design.” Web designs of this type are usually tacky, unbalanced, or overloaded. Instead of being simply informative, they can cause headaches because of information overload. You have to create web designs that will give viewers a pleasant viewing experience. Pages that are slow to load are also not good for today’s viewers who are known to have short attention spans. This is especially irritating when there are load meters that show just how slow it is really loading. Keep pages lean and fast so that visitors are not bored.

Tacky and wild color schemes would make your web design look foolish with too bright colors. These colors would also make the text difficult to read. You would not want your visitors to squint while reading. Also, make sure that the spelling and grammar of your text is correct.

Errors in spelling and grammar can make visitors grimace and immediately leave your site.” A good web design would also have fonts that are of the appropriate style and size that fit the purpose of the site. Do not use fonts just because you fancy them. This goes along with the need to make sure that your site is readable and pleasant to browse through.

Another thing that visitors really dislike is the automatic music that plays when you open a web site. This is particularly irritating when the background music does not fit the subject matter. Add to this the difficulty to find the off switch for the music and you get a visitor who is just about ready to tear his hair off. To make your web design clean, you also have to avoid overloading it with ads especially the ones with really big banners. These ads should instead be well placed and well designed.

Commenting on Blogs Is A Must – Just Do It The Right Way!

November 2nd, 2009

Blog commenting can make a pretty big difference in helping you connect to your readers. Apparently, 90% of the newbies relate blog commenting to simply spamming. They go so far as to write a generic, crappy comment on someones blog in order to get a link. It is actually laughable to see how much effort people put into leaving mass-created junk comments on websites, hoping that they would get past Akismet.

The thing which is more interesting is that the links (URLs) in the spammy comments never point to a valid internet resource. Instead, even the link happens to be junk. I tried following them and received a 404 error.

For people who think blog commenting is an easy way to get a backlink and tons of traffic, I have news: IT ISNT. Do not approach this method as a way to get rich quickly. It will not happen.

Blog comments are used mainly to grab your target audiences attention and portray yourself as an expert in your niche. This way, you can actually get them on your website and make sales.

But there is a catch to it (as there is to everything in life): Your comments should be valuable and insightful. If they are not, your comments will not be productive towards your needs. If you post a generic comment such as the one below:

Nice post! I really liked it! I will come back to this website again!

in the hopes of getting links to their websites without a lot of effort, your efforts will not be fruitful. More than 80% of the comments I receive on my blog are similar to the ones above, and I see no reason to accept them.

So if you want to comment on blogs, make sure you do the following:

1. Only comment on blogs related to your niche and target audience.

2. If you have nothing good to say, do not blabber. You do not need to comment on everything.

3. Only provide useful comments, which show that you know at least something about the topic at hand.

4. Leave a link on another person’s blog only when you are sure it makes sense to do so.

And please! Stop with the blog commenting scripts!

Ten Steps To Improve Your Websites Response Rate and Traffic

September 30th, 2009

Here are ten effortless ways to increase your websites response drastically with no cost associated with the improvements.

1. Add more content to your website, there simply isn’t enough on yours. Why? Because you cant get enough content on your site especially if its good, relevant content. It will dramatically boost your search engine rankings and also the amount of time visitors spend interacting with your site.

2. Add Strong Benefit laden headlines to every page of your website instead of lame efforts like welcome to our club! 1 out of 1,000 websites has strong sales copy and they are the ones that produce the best response!

3. Change your lead generation contest and promos every sixty to ninety days to keep them fresh and generating interest! You need multiple ways to collect data running in key areas of your site simultaneously. Then you need to keep them fresh by changing them every sixty to ninety days.

4. Don’t just send e-mail special offers, enhance the content of every e-mail with jokes, tips, cartoons, funny stories and other content that adds more value and makes it 100 times more likely that the person getting your e-mail marketing might pass it on to someone else who wants it.

5. Add a blog and get someone, anyone, to blog every week. Blogs add excellent content, inbound links and personalization to your companies website. They also provide an excellent and easy forum to solicit feedback. Internet marketing blogs are popping up everywhere. In this day and age your website is behind the times if you aren’t using a blog on your website. For example, they are becoming almost as popular as good marketing books for finding quality information about marketing. Going back five years ago you couldn’t find any information about small business marketing one simple place, you had to find fifty or one hundred sites to compile a lot of good information!

6. Add a Twitter account and reach a younger generation of people, boost your search engine rankings and get specials and news out in bite size flashes!

7. Ask more questions in your surveys then load a whole series of e-mail offers into your site that are triggered by your customers preferences. In that way you only send offers to those customers who are most likely to be interested and respond. This dramatically boosts response rates and decreases opt out rates.

8. Add a Social engine, for your employees and clients to interact with others at your club.

9. Add a hover ad to your home page, one that must be closed to move on into the site. This will increase your data collection by 300% or even more.

10. Build vertical mini websites for key income streams like membership, wedding and outings.

Sounds easy but it takes hard work. Do the work and reap the results.

You Can Get That Number One Google Ranking

September 30th, 2009

People love to make things complicated, but making money online is actually really simple. Whether you are selling your own product, promoting affiliate links, or making money from Adsense or “click flipping”, it all boils down to just two things: Conversions and Traffic.

Conversion

Conversion comes first. You need to have an offer that people want. That “offer” might be a product, or it might be an enticing advert (e.g. Google Adsense) that people want to click on. And you need some kind of presentation (such as a sales letter) that encourages them to take the action that you want them to take (eg buy the product or click on the advert).

In many ways this is the easiest part. Most people can put together a half decent website or sales letter that will make at least some money from their visitors.

Traffic

But then, of course, you need visitors. The more people that you can get to come to your site, the more money you will make; especially if those visitors re highly targeted. But, given the number of websites online: all competing for the same visitors, just how do you get more visitors to your site?

Well, there are just three ways that traffic comes to your site:

  1. Visitors type your URL straight into their browser. That results from some sort of off-line promotion: it might be your business card, a radio advert, an article in a magazine or a conversation with a friend.
  2. People click on a link. The hyperlink may be in an email they received (eg from a friend or from an ezine they subscribed to) or it may be on another website they have visited.
  3. Or they do a search in the search engines, see your site in the listings, and click to visit you.

And that is it. There is no other way for them to get to your website.

How To Get Traffic

So, if we know that, how do we get more traffic? Easy:

  1. Promote your Internet presence in all your offline promotional materials.
  2. Get lots of people to put links to you on their website, and lots of people to send out emails with your links in them.
  3. Get a top position in the search engines.

It sounds simple, but maybe it is not so easy. Just how do you achieve steps 2 and 3 without spending loads of cash or getting banned by the search engines?

To understand this, we need to think about how the search engines work. Again, it is much simpler than people say.

The Search Engines

Search engines want lots of people to use them. To achieve that, they strive to deliver relevant and up-to-date content to people who do a search through them. But how do they determine what is relevant to your search?

There are only two ways that they can achieve that:

  1. They scan your site and, using very sophisticated algorithms, they determine what the subject matter of your website is. They also check how new or old it is, how recently it was updated and so on. These are all known as on-page or on-site factors. You have direct control over many of these factors when you set up your site.
  2. They look at what other people write about your website. In doing so, they look at two factors: how many people have links to your site (and what those links say) and also how important is the site that links to your site. An important ‘authority’ site that points to you is worth more than a whole list of unimportant sites. They also consider how old the links that point to you are, and a number of other factors about the link and the context in which it is found.

At the same time, the search engines are constantly looking out for sites that try to fool them into thinking that they are more relevant or more popular than they really are. Which is why the so-called “black-hat” techniques quickly lose their effectiveness.

Getting To The Top

And so, to get to the top of the search engine lists you need to do two things:

  1. You can optimize your on-page factors. There is plenty of information on the Internet and off it about how to do that. It is not difficult but, in itself, it is also not enough.
  2. Get lots of high-quality, one-way, relevant links to your site from as many other ‘important’ sites as you can.

How do you get people to link to you?

This is the Big question.

  1. Produce a fantastic site so that others just really want to tell others about your site.
  2. Pay others to link to you – buy a text link, or offer an affiliate program.
  3. Swap links with other websites – but reciprocal links are clearly not worth as much as one-way back-links and it is a lot of work to do this effectively anyway.
  4. Provide them with fresh, unique content that adds value to their site in return for which they agree to post a back-link to you. Many sites are constantly looking for fresh, unique content. They get this content by traipsing through the article directories or by subscribing to article submission services.

So, if you send out articles to these directories, your articles will end up both on the directories themselves AND on the niche sites that pick up and use our articles. AND some of these sites are likely to be valuable “authority”-type sites. Of course, whether it is taken up and by whom, depends on the quality of your article.

As you can see, this last method is the simplest and most powerful. It gives you hundreds or thousands of one way links, from niche, relevant sites, all for free. All you need is some way to get a different, unique, article to each of those directories and ezine publishers. Which is, of course, what our software does.

But wait a minute! It doesn’t stop there. The real power behind this method comes when you use it regularly. Preferably at least once a week. Imagine getting 200 to 1800 new permanent one way links every week! By the end of a year, you could easily have 50,000 or more relevant, quality, one-way links to your site! And you can connect the submission process to a timer to put everything on autopilot!

That is the real power of this system’s software and that is why it beats every other traffic generation and SEO system out there.

Boost Your Income Through Keywords

September 29th, 2009

If you’ve been in Niche Marketing any time at all, you know how important keywords are. These words are what people type into search engines to find information. If you’ve done your work right, they’ll find your site and come running, eager to buy what you have, this is the way to make money in Internet Marketing. If we didn’t have keywords, there would be no income for us marketers!

Knowing that keywords are so important to our online incomes, you’d think that more Internet Marketers would do a better job of checking on them to make sure they’re still making money. But this isn’t the case. A lot of people think that if they have a group of keywords that is making them money, then those keywords will always make them money. This isn’t true and it’s a prime reason you should be doing routine check ups to make sure you’re still dealing with profitable keywords and not duds.

Our time as marketers is limited. A lot of marketers don’t realize they’re spending time optimizing their websites for keywords that are no longer able to make money. For example, it wouldn’t do you much good to be working on keywords about Christmas in the middle of March. No one is looking to buy Christmas gifts at Easter.

Smart marketers check their keywords often because they will find new keywords that will help them make money with the Internet. Heck, just a few years ago the term Niche Marketing didn’t even exist. This is a prime example of being on the lookout for new keywords. By checking your keywords every month or so and getting rod of the ones not making you money and adding new ones that are hot, you’ll go a long ways in making money in this business.

If you’re seeing decreasing income from your keyword list, this may be a good time to look them over to see which ones aren’t performing. While you’re at it, it will also be a good idea to see which other keywords that have become popular so you can add those to your list as well. It’s a real bummer to work hard building your keyword list only to find out that many of your main keywords are not being searched for quite as often as they once were.

Just by taking this advice and looking over your keyword list, you’ll likely find room for improvement. Heck, you may also discover that your income goes up as you get rid of non productive keywords and add new ones. You can bet that your competition will be updating their keyword list on a routine basis, just another reason you should be as well. That is, if your interested in making money on the Internet!
