What Is Information Marketing.

November 22nd, 2009

As I mentioned in my previous post Information is a multi-BILLION dollar industry and an incredible opportunity for you to make an additional income in or to even make this your profession. It is one of the easiest industries to “break into” AND it is based upon taking your knowledge and leveraging it. Let me explain: Information Marketing is the publishing, marketing and selling of information products. both off-line (i.e. book stores) and on-line (i.e. websites).

You know Information Marketing best from books that you see at book stores or perhaps the exercise systems you can purchase from the TV Infomercials. Have you ever wanted to write your own book, share your knowledge, your system, your shortcuts? You may not have thought about the marketing and selling aspect of that but tha

How do we know? For the mere fact that I previously declared in my anteceding post… “last year three hundred and fifty two million individuals spent over $564 BILLION on information products. So… Do not you think there is an given chance there for you? Do not you think out of three hundred and fifty two million individuals worldwide (and with the growth of the Internet this number is sure to have already tripled) that there is a niche market out there for you? Sure there is! Go look on the Internet and see if you can find something similar. Someone is writing and putting information out there right now in your niche… why shouldn’t it be YOU?

I posses how what you are thinking… there is already too much Info out there, or someone has already written a book on my topic… or Or OR. No excuses. Here’s the deal. There is nobody else out there like YOU with your knowledge, your experience, expertise, spin, etc. AND more importantly there are people out there that will resonate with you and your message or Info but you have to give them the chance.

Let me take this a step further… Have you seen a book on imposed dieting? More than one book? Oh really? In fact let’s just narrow our search to Amazong for imposed dieting books and not even open this up to Google for worldwide returns…. On Amazon alone twhen you search imposed dieting books you get a whopping 33,758 returns on imposed dieting! Yikes!

Hmmmm…. Well now isn’t that interesting? There are a ton of books on imposed dieting and new ones coming out what seems like every day! Yet they are all different, they all have their own spin and take on “Their System” I’ll talk more about this in my next post. Even with imposed dieting a subject that would seem to be saturated by now and isn’t is an given chance in Information marketing/selling.

You see there is never enough information and people need to know what you know. The only difference between the “experts” and you is that 1) they call themselves and expert and 2) they have taken action to publish and market their information in some format.

So back to our topic here on Information marketing/selling… I like to produce this simple when it comes to explaining what type of information products there and there is a lot… I call them clicks and bricks. Now you know what Information marketing/selling is all about and it is HUGE! I’m looking forward to training you in this Industry and to helping you get started. I know you will produce a positive difference in the lives of others when you share your information… your SYSTEM. Stay tuned for my next post on more about your System.

Article Writing and Affiliate Promotion: They Go Hand In Hand

September 12th, 2009

The most significant rule when selecting affiliates to promote on your website is to choose products that would be of importance to those who would probably visit your niche site. There are a lot of places on the web that will to post your article so that others may view and/or use it.

Since article publishers must connect your author byline to it, article writing will cause you even more exposure for every site that re-posts your article. Each piece has the owners sig located beneath it so that viewers who eventually read the article will identify who wrote it (or at least who owns it) and will be able to get in contact with or visit their site for more information.

Article promotion can be an completely free manner of advertising for you just because of the dissemination channels on the web. When writing articles, make certain to keep your readers in mind.

If you are planning to purchase content, make sure that you let the writer understand what your niche keywords are and what your preferred keyword density and placement are. How much you can make from placing articles and affiliate links on your website varied from site to site. Those who are looking to make income from articles are referred to as the article marketers. Do your articles the appropriate way. After all, a terrible article and an dissimilar link to an unknown product are not probably going to make the earnings roll in. In fact, it might deter future sales. Just carry out stuff the right way.

Before you get foggy-eyed by dollar symbols, though, remember some products are certain to sell more than others. If a reader finds contents on your site that fascinates them, it will keep them returning to your website to understand new information about the niche specialty.

If you want free content, you will be sharing that content with an unknown amount of additional affiliate marketers, plus the initial author will be allowed to place their sig at the bottom of the article which may well result in them taking your web traffic. If you use that sort of content it helps to use css to make the hyperlinks appear black and not underlined. The hyperlinks then look like typical text. Studies have revealed that most Web viewers are inclined to skim through a webpage to find the information they are hunting for, more accurately than comprehending the full page.

Anyone can be an affiliate, but to have an affiliate ad positioned in a high-quality location on a top-position website will bring in the most profits for a company. So be certain and make your site position well with the best SEO techniques used in affiliate promotion. It is a reality that most visitors dont search beyond the initial search engine result page and by the third search engine results webpage there is almost no viewers left for you to promote to. Article writing done right helps to get you in traffic through the marketing efforts of others when they publish your articles.

If you are a astute learner and great reader, then you can find out everything you need to know right from the Web without any previous instruction required. One of the first things you will need to do, or possibly last if you need some inspiration, after you choose your niche subject matter is to decide on a catchy domain name. Let other publishers post your articles, along with your byline which will advise visitors who wrote it and how they can contact you, on their website.

I don’t ever endorse banner exchanges. This could even shoot you in the foot if you operate an affiliate website because, instead of clicking on your affiliate hyperlinks, your viewers may be visiting on your banner exchange links. That is not beneficial! Affiliate marketing is a tricky business, but definitely approach it with professionalism. Staying professional will help you to convince visitors to click on your affiliate links, therefore making you money. That is what we all would like!

Top Reasons to Use Social Media for Marketing Your Website

July 22nd, 2009

Bloggers and website owners always want more traffic. One of the best ways that anyone can market a website today is social media marketing (SMM). Although many bloggers have used social media extremely well, others have not used social media at all. In this article I’ll point out some valid reasons that all bloggers should recognize the power of SMM.

1. Enormous Traffic Potential

For those bloggers and website owners that do use social media to promote their site, most likely what first caught their attention was the traffic potential. Although there are plenty of other ways to market a site, not many other methods carry as much potential as social media. Anyone can have success with social media with the right approach and effort.

2. Building Links

Of those who do not use social media to promote their site, most claim that they are more interested in search traffic. While the value of targeted search traffic cannot be denied, SMM can actually help you to achieve this. Posts that are successful with social media tend to draw in-bound links, which in turn will increase search rankings.

If your post does well with social media you will get the links from the social media sites themselves, plus it will likely draw links from other bloggers as a result of the exposure it has received. This is a great low-cost way to build links.

3. Potential to Go Viral

If you’re able to create something that is exceptionally successful with social media, it could spread virally through users of various social media sites. You may not even use a particular social media site, but it could get submitted and spread by others.

Of course, this only works for the very best content (a very small percentage of submitted content), but the potential is there.

4. Large, Diverse Audience

As social media and social networking sites continue to become more common and popular, the potential audience that can be reached with a successful SMM campaign is huge.

As a marketer, one of your tasks is to get people to visit the site. With SMM the potential is huge. Even though social media visitors may not be the most highly-targeted traffic, the volume can often make up for that.

5. It’s Free!

SMM can be done by anyone who is willing to learn and put in some effort. You can always hire a professional to help with SMM, but that is an option not a necessity. Very few marketing methods bring this combination of potential traffic and low cost requirements.

Even if you do choose to hire a professional, most likely the costs will be less than other types of marketing, and if they are effective the results can be even better.

6. Networking Aspect

SMM allows you (or maybe forces you) to get involved and interact with other social media users, many of whom are also bloggers. This networking will be incredibly valuable as you work to grow your blog.

Hiring A Flash Web Designer On Your Team

March 21st, 2009

Web design has many means of being developed, thanks to a wide array of technologies. One in particular is Macromedia Flash, a type of technology that allows for some astounding benefits that the average web design is devoid of.

By using Macromedia flash, a web designer is able to include flashy animations and effects within their design. This can lead to an increase in leads generated from a website, since the extra animation can be used to focus attention to a specific aspect of the website. This is great for a business website that is trying to sell its services, or sell the services of another website.

Flash only requires a plug-in to work properly. It is independent of both the operating system and the Internet browser used by the Internet user, so it is a great tool to make a compatible design among all types of systems. This is usually a hard task to achieve, since static web designs are susceptible to changes in different Internet browsers such as FireFox or Internet Explorer. Using Flash almost completely erases and problems with cross-platform compatibility.

When making the average web design, a designer will likely have to code the back end of the application separately from what he or she uses to make the design of the website. Flash essentially melds these two things together, by allowing for a itself to act as both the front-end and back-end with its scriptin elements. Flash can do just about everything popular development languages such as PHP do- and in some cases even more so.

Businesses that incorporate a certain amount of Flash into their website will also notice that they have a higher sense of credibility than websites that do not. This is due to the fact that Flash is able to create a much more stunning layout than a regular web design that is considered static. This shows to the user that the business is serious in its web design- and is not afraid to go a step further to attract new types of business.

Macromedia Flash allows for a lot of functionality, but it does have some downsides in using it. Since it requires a Flash plug-in, some may not have the plug-in and won’t be able to view Flash contents. Obviously this is bad if the entire website is in Flash! Designs that use Flash also load slower, since there is typically a lot of animation or scripting to load by the client computer.

Final Thoughts

Web development companies would be a good option for those who aren’t sure how to take advantage of what Flash has to offer the average website. Shop around and ask for samples before you decide on a company, so you are satisfied with the price and the end result.
